A good sweeper must retain the suctioned dust and quickly sweep all solid waste from the floor. It is well known that the air we breathe is an important vehicle for transmitting many lung diseases, from silicosis to COVID infections. Therefore, it is important to collect dust and waste optimally to make environments healthier.

GENERAL TECHNICAL INFORMATION

  1. Not all dust is the same, and therefore, for each type of dust, RCM recommends using the most suitable filtering elements to achieve the best result (in terms of filtration and filtration autonomy).
  2. There is no such thing as an absolute filter because, if that were the case, even air wouldn’t pass through. The filtration percentage must always be referred to the size of the dust particles (microns) you want to retain.
  3. The filter surface area is a crucial element for the technical evaluation of a filter because the larger the surface area, the greater the filtering capacity and the filtration autonomy of the sweepers.

By increasing the filter surface area, you gain two fundamental advantages:

  • Reduces the thickness of the dust that accumulates on the filter wall, ensuring greater working autonomy.
  • Forces the air to pass through the filter more slowly, preventing the dust particles from penetrating the fabric/paper, thus increasing the filter’s cleaning capacity, guaranteeing less clogging, and reducing maintenance.

In a panel cartridge filter, the distance between the folds must not be less than 8/10 mm.

In a “bag” filter, the distance between two elements must not be less than 30/35 mm to ensure that the filter does not clog and to facilitate its cleaning.

TYPES OF FILTERS USED IN RCM SWEEPERS

Depending on the type of machine and the dust to be collected, RCM machines use:

  • Fabric bag filter
  • Polyester cartridge filter
  • Polyester panel filter.

FILTER CLEANING

Cleaning for routine maintenance is achieved by simply pressing a button on the machine panel or activating the manual shaker.

Per la pulizia straordinaria, si abbina la pulizia di manutenzione all’uso dell’aspirapolvere, per raggiungere anche le zone più difficili.

For extraordinary cleaning, maintenance cleaning is combined with the use of a vacuum cleaner to reach even the most difficult areas. This ensures cleaning sessions with fewer interruptions. Please leave a message to be contacted by a technician.
