The CIRCOLO DELLA BIELLA was founded in the 30s by a group of friends from Modena who were fond of races and engines and used to meet in a very popular bar at the time.

After the war, the CIRCOLO DELLA BIELLA was reunited again and the first member was Enzo Ferrari, followed by a great number of enthusiasts, technicians and famous drivers, such as Manuel Fangio, Peter Collina, Mike Hawthorn and Luigi Musso.

Modena in the 50s and 60s was the heart of world motor racing and for the most famous drivers it was usual to hang out with the members of CIRCOLO DELLA BIELLA, from whom they would receive “first-hand” information on the development and competitiveness of Ferrari and Maserati, since many of them were technicians and mechanics of those two companies themselves.

In 1987, the club’s name changed into CIRCOLO DELLA BIELLA AUTO STORICHE. Times had changed and many members began to participate personally in the races with their own, more or less prestigious, historical cars.

In 1990–1991, the steering committee of the club was invited to Japan to organize a re-edition of the famous Italian MILLEMIGLIA.

“Biella” itself has won many races: 9 in individual races and 4 as a team.

The sponsorship of RCM was very important for the support of the racing team, which has won and is still winning races on tracks and rallies.

The direct experience gained on the track as drivers by the Raimondi brothers (members of the Biella since the beginning) was very helpful in raising awareness among the organizers of F1 GP races, who, since the 1986 GP, started to use the Rapid Cleaning Service proposed by RCM.

It started to be common to see an RCM sweeper cleaning the track, pit lane, paddock and parking lots in the Italian and foreign racetracks.

Now, also in the World Formula E Championship, RCM and Macroclean are present with their own sweepers to clean both the pit lane and the entire track.
