RCM does not demonstrate its concern for the environment through rhetoric, but rather through the facts, the products and the production systems.
RCM employs a 185kW photovoltaic system that covers 60% of energy used in its facilities, thereby reducing CO2 emissions by 160 tonnes a year.
RCM machines are equipped with devices designed to reduce their environmental impact and to safeguard resources, including:
-all of the on-board operator sweepers can be optionally equipped with LPG systems
-all of the sweepers with hydraulic dumping have filters capable of blocking PM10
-the scrubber-driers are equipped with the AQUA SAVER system in order to reduce water consumption.
Concern for the environment and the drive for innovation have led to the development of RCM’s H2CLEAN project, aimed at promoting the use of hydrogen technology in the cleaning sector.
This does not only include hydrogen-powered sweepers and scrubber-driers, but also machine/station configurations complete with photovoltaic systems for the production and distribution of zero-impact hydrogen: H2CLEAN is the project intended to open new doors for those who share both RCM's commitment to the environment, as well as its desire for maximum efficiency and autonomy.
