21 April 2016 - RCM and YAMAHA present KiSS MUGELLO
In its Gerno di Lesmo headquarters, YAMAHA MOTOR RACING hosted the joint presentation of RCM and YMR as partners of KiSS MUGELLO 2016, the environmental initiative launched in 2014 by YAMAHA to the motor racing world.
A few weeks before the MotoGP will take place in the Mugello Circuit, RCM and Yamaha Motor Racing presented KiSS (Keep it Shiny and Sustainable) MUGELLO 2016.
Promoted by Yamaha Motor Racing in 2013 and supported by the Mugello Circuit, as well as the FIM, DORNA and IRTA companies, KiSS MUGELLO is the first initiative in the world of motor racing created with the purpose of involving the public of MotoGP with sustainable, environmental, ethical and social initiatives.

relating to the 2015 Kiss edition, explained to the delegates of institutions, associations and operators in the Environmental Health sector, as well as to journalists of GSA (Italian Journal of Environmental Services), the objectives and the procedures to raise awareness among the general public and the organizers of motor racing events on environmental and social sustainability issues.
That was a perfect time to brainstorm and share strategies that may help promote virtuous behaviours towards the environment even in this world that seems so mentally far from “environmental” concerns.
Why RCM and YAMAHA?
Fostered by the same passion for the motor racing world, the meeting between Yamaha and RCM stems from the contingent need to keep the Gerno di Lesmo factory clean and “take care” of it, and it is brought forward through the shared concept of keeping the environment clean and taking care of the environment.
Since 2008, RCM scrubber-dryers have been used in YMR for the daily cleaning of floors or to recover the hundreds of square metres of carpets used in the hospitality areas on the track and make them reusable, or they would otherwise be disposed of.
This speaks volumes about the environmental awareness of a large company caring to “re-use” rather than “dispose”. Such consciousness led to conceive the KiSS Mugello idea and find a partner in RCM, a company who has been committed in taking care of the environment for nearly fifty years.
